We held our Christmas party at the Silver Threads Hall on Wednesday 15th December.This year our member’s  decided to have their food and decorations in smaller groups.

The tables were decorated in true festive spirit and the food themes varied from Italian and Indian to traditional Christmas fair. We were very fortunate to have Christine Kinder play the harp beautifully during our meal. Christine also judged the best table and this was won by the Italian group.

A good evening was had by all and we cut the cake to celebrate 45 years of WI in Purton.

We were also entertained by our own choir, with excellent carols, poems and sketches.
