Purton our village with a population of just over 4,000 is situated close to the ever-expanding Wiltshire town of Swindon.

We recommend you take a walk around the village
The High Street with several interesting stone built houses including The Angel Hotel this is probably the oldest public house in Purton, built in 1702 then via Church Path to view Purton Manor House with the Tithe Barn and nearby Purton St. Mary's Church
